Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), a provider of thermal packaging and digital solutions for the life sciences industry, has been awarded a Bronze Medal by EcoVadis following its latest assessment.
The recognition reflects the company's continued commitment to ESG business practices and follows CCT's strongest year-on-year improvement since it began participating in the assessment program in 2021. The result places the company within the top 35% of companies assessed by EcoVadis.
EcoVadis is a widely used provider assessments for sustainability performance, evaluating organisations across four key areas: environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. CCT improved its score across all four assessment categories, reflecting a company-wide effort to strengthen sustainability practices and governance. Within the Sustainability category, CCT was firmly seated in the “Advanced level” with the top 28% of companies in this broad category.

As sustainability becomes an increasingly important consideration across the life sciences supply chain, CCT has announced a commitment to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050 and continues to invest in reusable packaging solutions, lifecycle assessments and independently verified sustainability initiatives. In addition, CCT has made significant efforts in expanding its digital capabilities to provide customers with greater visibility into the environmental impact of their operations.
